 R-Statistics Beginner course

I designed the modules for a beginner's introduction to statistics in R course. It is meant to run for four weeks. This interesting course would be held virtually via my online platforms.

  • Undergraduates, Master and Doctoral students working on various research projects
  • Individuals who possess a fundamental to proficient understanding of statistics and seek to utilize the R software for data analysis.

Course Module

  • Getting started with R: installing R, R Studio, R packages, and the importance of statistics with R
  • Exploratory data analysis 1: Measurement of central tendencies
  • Exploratory data analysis 2
  • Inferential statistics 1: Introduction to hypothesis testing,  Normality test, T-test, Chi-squared test,
  • Inferential statistics 2: Parametric and non-parametric tests 

Pre-requisites

Basic level knowledge, or

Taken or concurrently taking my tidyverse course
